Rapha Unveils Autumn/Winter Collection with Lightweight Cool-Weather Protection
Rapha has rolled out its latest apparel lineup aimed at riders facing dropping temperatures. The brand has introduced fresh additions to its Pro Team range, built to handle conditions now that the summer heat has faded. Meanwhile, the Brevet collection gains new cold-weather choices that carry over design elements like Air Pockets and reflective dots, which originally appeared in the warmer-weather Brevet items released last May.
Between them, these pieces span everything from rain protection to footwear covers. Below is a breakdown of the standout items Rapha is bringing to market.
Rapha Pro Team Thermal Jacket
£200 / $290 / €240
True to its name, this jacket targets chilly weather. However, because it relies on a DWR coating instead of a membrane, it performs best on dry rides. Two different fabrics are combined to deliver wind-blocking capability along with a snug, flexible fit.
According to Rapha, the jacket incorporates high-visibility details, making it a solid choice for training before sunrise or after the workday ends. The brand positions it as filling the space between the lighter Pro Team Midweight jacket and the more weather-resistant Pro Team Shadow winter jacket.
Brevet Gore-Tex Rain Jacket
£350 / $540 / €420
Rapha states that a men’s medium weighs just 142g, which makes it the brand’s lightest ultra-distance waterproof yet—compact enough, they say, to fit inside a jersey pocket.
The three-layer ripstop material features Gore’s newest ePE membrane, replacing the PFAS-based membranes that were previously standard in Gore-Tex jackets. Fully taped seams and a two-way AquaGuard zipper are said to provide total waterproofing.
Brevet Long Sleeve Merino Jersey III
£215 / $285 / €250
The “III” indicates this is a refreshed version of a staple jersey in Rapha’s Brevet line, which caters to long-distance cyclists.
Constructed from a quick-drying blend of merino wool and recycled polyester, the jersey features Rapha’s Brevet Air Pockets—first introduced on the Brevet Lightweight Jersey III—which hold the pockets slightly away from the rider’s back for added comfort.
Rapha describes the jersey as lightweight with a pleasant feel and odor-fighting properties, while reflective dots—another carryover from earlier Brevet III items—boost visibility in low-light conditions.
Rapha Pro Team Lightweight Cargo Tights
£215 / $285 / €250
Also intended for cold, dry rides, these tights use a tightly woven fabric that Rapha says resists wind. Two cargo pockets on the legs provide space for extra snacks or a place to tuck a cap once the ride warms up.
Rapha Overshoes
£80 / $120 / €95
Winter cycling wouldn’t be complete without pulling on a pair of overshoes, and Rapha’s latest version uses 2mm neoprene with a second, durable fabric layer underneath to minimize wear from walking or putting a foot down.
A tall ankle cuff helps block rain, and Rapha notes that the overshoes are aerodynamic, so they won’t hold you back.
Rapha Bascule
£50 / €57 / $75
The brand has also released several other items: Pro Team Thermal Bib Shorts, a Brevet Lightweight Insulated Jacket and Gilet, Brevet Cargo Winter Tights, winter-grade overshoes, toe covers, reflective oversocks, Pro Team Shadow winter gloves, and two Pro Team caps. Among the new offerings is the Rapha Bascule, which appears to be an insulation patch similar in concept to the Albion Burner.
