Sifang Innovation Passes Hong Kong Listing Hearing, Poised to Become First “A+H” Fintech Firm
Shenzhen Sifang Innovation Information Technology Co., Ltd. has cleared the listing hearing of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 6, with China Merchants Bank International and Guosen Securities (Hong Kong) serving as joint sponsors. The company, which has been listed on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2015, is now on track to become the first fintech enterprise to achieve dual listings in both mainland China and Hong Kong should its H-shares successfully debut.
Established in 2003, the firm specializes in providing software development, consulting services, and system integration solutions to financial institutions across the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia. Its client base primarily consists of banks and financial service providers seeking digital transformation support and technology-driven operational enhancements.
In the first half of 2026, the company reported total revenue of RMB 353 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 14.9 percent. However, its net profit stood at RMB 36.34 million, reflecting a decline of 17.33 percent compared to the same period last year. The dip in profitability comes amid rising operational costs and increased investment in research and development aimed at expanding its product offerings and market reach.
The company’s actual controller, Zhou Zhiqun, currently holds approximately 18.49 percent of the company’s shares. This ownership structure has remained stable since its initial public offering on the mainland, underscoring a consistent governance framework as the firm now moves toward its Hong Kong listing.
Industry observers note that the successful listing hearing represents a significant milestone for the fintech sector, as it paves the way for cross-border capital market integration. The dual listing structure would allow the company to tap into international capital pools while maintaining its strong presence in the domestic Chinese market, a strategy that could serve as a blueprint for other technology-driven financial services firms eyeing expansion.
Analysts point out that the company’s revenue growth, albeit coupled with a profit contraction, reflects the broader trends observed across the fintech industry—where top-line expansion often outpaces bottom-line improvements due to heavy technology investments. Market participants will now closely monitor the company’s next steps, including the pricing of its H-share offering and the eventual listing date on the Hong Kong bourse.
Should the listing proceed as anticipated, Sifang Innovation would solidify its position as a unique player in the capital markets—one that successfully bridges the financial technology landscape between mainland China and the global investment community. This cross-listing move is expected to enhance the company’s visibility, attract a more diverse investor base, and potentially improve its access to capital for future growth initiatives.
