Rapoo is set to release two new gaming mice, the VT2 V2 and VT2s V2, on Tmall tonight at 8:00 PM Beijing time on September 11. The two models cater to different hand sizes and grip preferences, offering gamers a choice between a slightly larger and a more compact form factor.

The VT2 V2 is designed for users with medium to large hands, measuring 126 x 63 x 40mm and weighing approximately 55 grams. The VT2s V2, on the other hand, targets small to medium-handed users, with dimensions of 119 x 62 x 39mm and a lighter weight of around 52 grams. Despite their size differences, both mice share a robust set of internal components.

Under the hood, both the VT2 V2 and VT2s V2 are powered by the nRF54L15 microcontroller and equipped with the PAW3950 optical sensor, which supports a tracking rate of at least 20,000 frames per second. This combination is aimed at delivering precise and responsive performance for competitive gaming scenarios.

Both models also feature Omron 100M micro switches, rated for 100 million clicks, ensuring long-term durability. For scrolling, Rapoo has opted for TTC 2M encoders, which are designed to provide consistent tactile feedback over extended use. A built-in 800mAh battery powers each mouse, and both support an 8kHz polling rate, a feature increasingly demanded by enthusiast gamers seeking minimal input latency.

The two mice are priced identically at 229 yuan each. With their shared internal specifications but distinct ergonomic designs, Rapoo appears to be targeting a broad audience of gamers who prioritize lightweight construction, high polling rates, and reliable sensor performance without breaking the bank. The simultaneous launch of both variants suggests the company is looking to capture market share across different user demographics within the competitive gaming peripherals space.

Tonight’s sale on Tmall marks the official retail availability of both models, following what has likely been a period of anticipation among fans of Rapoo’s gaming lineup. Interested buyers can head to the platform at 8:00 PM to place their orders.
