Gotion High-Tech has successfully won a core contract for Saudi Arabia’s first batch of large-scale battery energy storage projects, with a supply capacity of 6GWh. The company will provide full-scenario energy storage solutions for three major sites. The project, located in Saudi Arabia, adopts a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, under which Gotion High-Tech will be responsible for construction, ownership, and long-term operation.
To address the harsh local conditions, including a wide temperature range of -30°C to 55°C, extreme heat, and sandstorms, the company has customized its Qian Yuan smart energy storage system, which integrates precise temperature control and intelligent BMS technology. Once completed, the project will enhance the consumption capacity of photovoltaic power and improve the flexibility of grid regulation.
