The "3 Free" benefits encompass free loaner vehicles, free pickup and delivery for servicing, and complimentary vehicle health inspections — all designed to elevate the ownership experience.
As the inaugural model in FAW-Volkswagen's new energy vehicle lineup, the ID. AURA T6 is positioned as the "Family-First Intelligent Stable EV SUV." From its exterior styling and interior design to space management, battery technology, and smart features, the vehicle delivers breakthroughs across every dimension, offering a more tailored experience for Chinese families in terms of space, intelligence, comfort, and safety.
A Design Rooted in Practical Naturalism for Everyday Family Life
With dimensions of 4,811 mm in length, 1,879 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2,836 mm, the ID. AURA T6 embodies the "Practical Naturalism" design philosophy. The vehicle achieves both elegant proportions and impressive aerodynamics while maximizing interior space efficiency. Boasting an 85.3% space utilization rate and 38 storage compartments throughout the cabin, every personal item finds its proper place. Notably, it features a 90-liter sealed front trunk — a first for the Volkswagen brand — which separates wet and dry items and isolates odors, further expanding storage flexibility. The front seats can fold flat to create a restful area, and with the queen-style passenger seat, rear folding tables, external power discharge capability, and exterior speakers, the vehicle adapts effortlessly to scenarios such as midday naps, camping trips, and long-distance travel, truly extending the living space of the family.
A Human-Centric Cockpit That Understands You
Inside, the ID. AURA T6 is built around everyday user habits, crafting a mobile living space that balances immersion with functionality. A 15.6-inch 2.5K high-definition center touchscreen, a 10.25-inch full digital instrument cluster, and a 25.8-inch AR-HUD form a multi-screen interactive system. Powered by a 4-nanometer automotive-grade chip with substantial computing capability, the system handles multitasking with fluidity, enabling seamless voice interaction and smooth app switching. The vehicle integrates multi-modal interaction across voice, touch, and vision, and supports continuous voice recognition across four acoustic zones covering nine Chinese dialects — allowing passengers in different seats to issue commands simultaneously without interference. With AI driving assistants and AI travel managers, the car can perform roadside scenery recognition, parking location memory, and includes thoughtful features like OMS rear-seat occupant reminder and driver fatigue monitoring, making intelligent interaction closely aligned with real-world driving needs. In terms of ecosystem, it integrates 23 mainstream entertainment apps across 8 categories to serve users of all ages, while supporting CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink connectivity protocols to accommodate diverse smartphone preferences.
Driving Assistance That Leaps to the Industry's Top Tier
On the hardware front, the ID. AURA T6 is equipped with the Horizon Journey 6H driving assistance chip delivering exceptional 420 TOPS of computing power, with system response latency under 160 milliseconds. For perception, it employs a 192-line high-performance lidar alongside multiple sensor types to achieve 720-degree environmental awareness. Even in low-visibility nighttime conditions, it can accurately detect distant obstacles, laying a solid hardware and safety foundation for its driving assistance capabilities. The driving assistance solution is the CARIZON one-stage end-to-end "HS8" system, purpose-built for the complex traffic conditions and diverse driving scenarios commonly encountered by Chinese users. It supports both urban and highway navigation assistance, enabling autonomous following, lane changes, and confident handling of tight road meetings and mixed pedestrian-vehicle environments. Additionally, the vehicle comes with AVM surround-view imaging and parking radar, supporting features such as parking assistance, remote-controlled parking, and valet-style roaming parking — dramatically reducing parking difficulty and operational burden while enhancing convenience and safety in smart mobility.
German-Inspired Handling with Solid EV Fundamentals — Reliability Meets Comfort
Carrying forward FAW-Volkswagen's deep expertise in chassis tuning, the ID. AURA T6 features the "Xingyun" chassis system with MacPherson front struts and a five-link rear independent suspension, paired with FSO variable-damping shock absorbers. The suspension has been specially calibrated for Chinese road conditions, striking a balance between handling support and ride comfort. The vehicle achieves a segment-leading 4.75-meter turning radius for nimble U-turns on narrow roads. Its class-wide widest tire combination — 255 mm in front and 265 mm in the rear — along with a near 50:50 ideal front-to-rear axle load distribution and front stabilizer bar, ensures stable cornering posture. The vehicle also features motion-sickness mitigation calibration tailored for EV driving, optimizing regenerative braking logic and power delivery smoothness to effectively reduce passenger discomfort. Full-size front and rear disc brakes, together with a One-box integrated braking system, deliver linear pedal feel and consistent, dependable braking performance.
In terms of range, the ID. AURA T6 is offered in two CLTC-rated variants: 540 km and 660 km. With fast-charging capability, replenishing from 30% to 80% takes only 22–24 minutes, meeting both daily commuting needs and longer road trips. In keeping with FAW-Volkswagen's unwavering commitment to safety and durability, the power battery has undergone over 400 ultra-stringent tests — eight times the national standard — ensuring reliability across the vehicle's entire lifecycle. The German quality ethos remains fully intact in the electrified era.
As the core strategic model of FAW-Volkswagen's "Smart EV 2.0" era, the ID. AURA T6 combines German precision engineering with intelligent solutions tailored for Chinese families.
